Involvement with the local communities in which we work is highlighted in our corporate vision and is an important part of our approach. All our operations have local offices, staffed by people from that area, delivering services that impact on everyday life.

The Enterprise Foundation remains a key vehicle through which we can deliver community related support and improvement projects. Our aims for 2010 are to expand the work the Foundation is doing to include more locations, new organisations and increased activity across the divisions.

Supporting charities as a Group and also in the local areas is a separate element to our ‘Communities’ focus. For 2010, the way we manage our charitable support is going to change to make it more targeted, varied and meaningful.
