There is always more we can do to improve our environmental impact. In 2010 we will focus on collaborating with our customers and stakeholders to improve local environmental quality and natural resource management.
We actively monitor carbon emissions from our operations. Following the success of the ‘Footprint’ data collection in 2009, 2010 sees us working towards a reduction in emissions. We will work more closely with our supply chain partners to manufacture and distribute innovative new materials, manufactured from waste including recycled backfill and engineering materials.
To measure and manage these activities we have five focus areas within Environment; these are environmental management, carbon, waste, resources and accreditations.
