In 2010 our action areas remain unchanged from 2009. In some cases our targets demand a challenging improvement on previous targets, in others; new targets and changes reflect the growing needs of the business.

 

We encourage employee involvement, the Employee Survey being one example. Every employee has an opinion on how they can improve their environment, job, processes or company policy. These ideas are integral to the continuous development and improvement of our business. In 2010 we will focus heavily on employee engagement at all levels within the business.

 

We look forward to continuing to further strengthen our talented workforce by meeting development needs identified in annual PDR’s.

 

All employees should feel safe, be fairly treated and understand their role in the organisation. Our actions drive towards this goal.

 

‘People’ also takes into account our responsibility towards the health and safety of the general public. This is our top priority at all times and our challenging targets ensure that we are driving continuously to improve our systems and processes.
