Enterprise is delighted to announce that it is sponsoring an award at the Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee (LARAC) conference this year. The award is for "Best Waste Minimisation or Prevention Project”.
The LARAC awards form part of the annual LARAC conference which brings together Local Authority recycling officers from across the UK. This year the prestigious conference and awards dinner is celebrating its 25th anniversary and will be held on 3-4 November 2010 at Liverpool's Arena Convention Centre. This is one of the most sustainable venues in Europe and was designed to reduce its CO2 emissions by half.
Enterprise has worked in Liverpool for many years and has a long term partnership to provide refuse and recycling for this Council and many others across the UK. Enterprise is pro-actively encouraging waste minimisation on all its contracts and is fully supportive of the work that LARAC is doing in this area.
