Our Approach

We know at Enterprise that it not necessarily what we do, but how we do it that makes a difference to our customers.

A key element to our approach remains the ‘local touch’.  Our teams use local knowledge, suppliers and workforce to tailor the services to the needs of the area and to respond to each region’s specific challenges.

Enterprise prides itself on being a national company with local roots. We have contracts in every county in Britain and in some cases have been providing those services for decades.

Our work with large organisations such as EON Central Networks, Severn Trent Water, the Highways Agency and the MOD Defence Estates sees us working across multiple counties for one contract.

We have four key elements to our service delivery approach:

1. Internal culture

Our Vision, Principles and Values drive our culture and our commitment to our customers.  We are a service business and people are at the heart of making it a success. Their knowledge, experience and commitment are our unique selling point.

2. Delivery models

We have considerable experience in developing delivery models that suit our customers’ requirements. We take into account the division of risk, corporate governance, the operating models and the investment requirements.

We have great knowledge of workforce management models, with over 3000 people undertaking a TUPE transfer at Enterprise, while other contracts use the Retained Employment Model or Direct labour.

3. Experience

Throughout the last 40 years we have amassed a huge amount of knowledge and experience that is focused directly on responding to our customers’ needs.

Our teams have experienced numerous challenges and they continue to deliver consistently leading services.  The learning and best practice is shared and communicated to promote continuous improvement.

Our Senior Management team has an average service of over 15 years.  This loyalty and commitment to Enterprise is the backbone to our success.

4. Technology and Innovation

We continue to invest in and develop our technology to reduce costs, increase efficiency and allow for complete transparency; for us and our customers.
