Our street cleaning service provides a maintenance response appropriate to the challenges and pressures set by the public. We expect all our street cleaning teams to achieve a minimum cleansing standard in excess of 90% A/B standard.
We recognise that public spaces and the street environment are used differently and require a varied response to cleansing. We develop local environmental management plans which dictate maintenance schedules and activities. These are based on the extent and nature of public use of individual streets and public open space.
