Services provided:The partnership is one of an increasing number of long term contracts for bundled and integrated services that are being created between Local Authorities and Enterprise. These organisations will deliver a broad range of services, the core elements of which are essential “front-line” operations that improve cost and efficiency and respond to the local social and environmental agendas.
Value added:The value of the services being provided to PCC by Enterprise amounts to £210m over the 23 year life of the contract. The partnership will be providing services to other public sector organisations which will create additional revenue for Enterprise.
Achievements:Enterprise is one of the country’s largest and most experienced providers of maintenance and front-line services to the public sector. With more than 25 years’ experience, it now employs 13,000 people in 150 locations across the UK, providing a range of services to more than 15 million people. All City Services staff, just under 600, will transfer to Enterprise with their terms of employment protected under TUPE regulations.
